Service Information – Waratah OOSH

Before and After School Care

At Waratah OOSH Centre we look after Kindergarten to year 6. The Centre is open from 6.30am for Before school care and until 6.00pm for after school care and the children are cared for by mature, friendly, caring and qualified educators. Mornings include a free setup program with light breakfast. Children are taken to school on one of our OOSH buses. Afternoon children are collected  from school by one of our OOSH buses. Our afterschool program includes:

  • Indoor and outdoor play
  • Craft, construction and imagination play

Afternoon tea will be provided, based on a nutritional menu. Children are able to blend and have the opportunity to make friends with children from different schools.

Vacation Care

The vacation care program is run every school holiday according to state schools dates. For more information on vacation care, please refer to vacation tab.

Excursions

Excursions outside the Centre can play a valuable part of our program here at OOSH. Most of these excursions take place during our vacation care period and a holiday diary will explain what will occur on the day.

Excursion fees are NOT included in the payment, they are additional fees.

Signing In and Out

Each child must be signed in and out individually. This must be done electronically via iPad. This is a legal confirmation to say that your child/ren were in our care between the signed times. Children that are signed in are noted as being in our care and those children will be accounted for.
